And every year since 1986, just 50 outstanding remodeling companies have been selected in recognition of their distinction in service, expertise, and influence to receive REMODELING Magazine’s Big50 award.
This year, Gordon Reese Design Build has been selected for this prestigious award, as part of the 2017 Big50 Class of America’s Top Remodelers. It’s an honor to be recognized for this award that only selects the leaders in remodeling across the U.S. The Big50 award is given according to exceptionally high standards of professionalism and integrity, elite craftsmanship, and impact in the community or the industry at large.
An Award That’s Unique in Exclusivity
With only 50 remodeling companies across the nation selected for the prestigious Big50 award, receiving this recognition is a rare honor. Out of 92,000 remodeling firms that have paid staff across the U.S., only 1,550 firms have received the Big50 award. That’s just 1.7% of all remodeling businesses in the country. Since 1986, only 144 remodeling companies have received the REMODELING Big50 award across California state. Because the Big50 award aims to recognize only the highest-level leaders in the remodeling industry, the selection process is thorough. Furthermore, the selection panel explains that the process has become even more rigorous in recent years. REMODELING editors, columnists, industry leaders, and companies themselves nominate leading remodeling companies from their community. After lengthy evaluations and interviews to establish a company’s standards, the editors select the 50 companies who best represent outstanding leadership in the industry for that year. The selection process has become even more extensive and rigorous in the last few years, the REMODELING editors believe the 2017 winners are among the strongest remodeling leaders in the country. “Uniting the 2017 inductees are high standards and a determination to excel. Choosing a trustworthy, high-quality remodel contractor isn’t always easy, but the REMODELING Big50 award helps to highlight true leaders in the remodeling field. The 2017 Big50 winners will be featured in the September issue of REMODELING, a national remodeling trade publication read by more than 150,000 professional remodeling contractors.
